Denis Masi - Game 1978 – 1979

A free standing sculpture / construction with its own light and sound systems.

Wood table with one way security mirror as a barrier, three standardised wood chairs, large over head defused light made of shaped wood, large cream coloured tarpaulin floor covering, one large sheet of grey silver float mirror, one length of black felt, three ceramic slabs with traces of rat foot prints, fourteen stylised chrome plated objects and devises arranged on two ceramic slabs, eleven stuffed rats, two lead dish/bowels one with obscure chrome plated objects the other with crushed glass, two small cassette players, two tape loops one with a high and one with a low frequency sound, a powder coated mild steel barrier surround and the atmosphere in the immediate area of the work invested with the odour of burnt synthetic material.
